Advice though: never ever repair a bound item while it's part of a constant-effect enchantment. It looks nice and it offers some pretty good protection at lower levels. Personally, I like enchanting exquisite jewelry with constant effect bound armor and filling in the open slots with steel pieces. As you said, it can be a pain when they die, but that doesn't mean the option to do so isn't on the Xbox (or maybe it's just because I have the Game of the Year edition?). If your conjured creature died, you would have to un-equip and equip your armor.You would do that a lot if it was a weak creature(Scamp/Clannfear). It didn't make it through the game because it would be a pain just like the Invisibility enchantment(Which also didn't make it through the game).
